Cannon Firing at the Saratoga 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution Kick-Off

Saratoga County would like to invite you to their Saratoga 250^th Anniversary of the American Revolution Kick-Off press event this Thursday, June 30^th, at 10:30AM out front of the Saratoga County Office Building at 40 McMaster Street.

As part of the festivities, they will have Revolutionary War Reenactors on site to fire a simulated cannon shot using a Revolutionary War Replica Cannon.  The noise this makes will be loud, so they plan on notifying neighbors ahead of time with flyers and a Reverse 911 Call so they are aware of the noise which should occur sometime between 10:30AM and 11AM.

The Ballston Spa Police Department will close the intersection of McMaster Street and Remsen Street for about 5 minutes during the cannon firing, just so no drivers are startled when it goes off.  They expect this 5 minute interval to occur sometime between 10:30 and 11AM, probably close to 10:45AM.
