Emergency Sheltering for Village Residents

It looks like it’s really happening — about 13” of some of the heaviest/wettest snow of the season is coming. Supervisor Ostrander asked Mayor Rossi to remind Village residents on the Milton end of the Village that the Milton Community Center (310 Northline Road) is a shelter in case of prolonged power outages in the area. BACC is also a shelter should Milton’s Community Center move to an overflow status. Also, Ballston Town Hall Community Center (323 Charlton Road) may become an official emergency shelter if conditions warrant such a need.

If conditions become this severe, we will keep you posted on social media & on our website about your other options for safety. Again, let’s hope we don’t need any of these shelter options during this storm.
