New Staff at Village Hall

Let us introduce our Village of Friends to our two newest additions to our Village Offices staff! As you know, Julia Smith & Denise Bardino left us a couple weeks ago to pursue new positions, and we truly wish them well.

On the left, meet Tricia Hasbrouck, our new Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk. Tricia, who currently lives in Ballston Lake, is no stranger to Ballston Spa: “I have been coming to the Village for many years for dining and shopping.” Tricia comes to us after most recently serving as the Confidential Secretary of the Town of Charlton Supervisor. She started with us on October 25th and has been doing a fantastic job for the Village!

On the right, meet Barbara Bartlett, our new Treasurer (officially after Mayor Rossi appoints her tonight at the Special Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees). Barbara is also no stranger to the Village: “I recently moved to Ballston Spa from Moreau, where I held the position of Deputy Clerk and Deputy Receiver of Taxes. Prior to that, I lived in Massachusetts and served my town as the Town Clerk. I have enjoyed visiting my family in Ballston Spa for years, and I am very excited to become involved in the Village and look forward to settling down here.” Barbara started training with us on Friday, and she’s done a great job hitting the ground running!

We are very lucky to have found two uniquely qualified people to join us so quickly to ensure continuity of our operations at the Village Offices. Thanks again to Don Traver for helping ensure a transition process for us (Don will be remaining with us for the next few weeks to continue that training and support). We’re all excited about what the future will bring, and thanks to everyone for their kind words and support during this transitional period!
