About: Village government is headed by the Mayor and four Trustees. Together they form our local legislative body, the Board of Trustees. The Mayor and the Trustees are elected at the March Village election. Both the Mayor and the Village Trustees serve four-year terms.

Village Finances

The village is operated with money from real property taxes, a share of Saratoga County's sales tax, a variable amount of state aid, and other sources. When the board meets early each year to establish the budget, it also sets the property tax rate.
