Bulk leaf pick-up – Fall 2023

The bulk leaf pick-up in the Village begins the week of October 23^rd and will continue until after the Thanksgiving Holiday. This is a time-consuming operation that requires over half of the department’s employees to complete in the most efficient manner. The effort is also impacted by weather conditions and other work in the Village that must be completed. We ask you to be patient while we work on the project.

Please do not co-mingle leaves with other yard debris as it could possibly damage our equipment.

When the operation is running in the most efficient manner, it will involve 5 people. They will be working in the streets to remove the leaves from your curb area and get them into the trucks. People operating in the street will also be wearing hearing protection.

Please exercise a high level of caution when driving near their work area.
