NY Forward
Ballston Spa is in the process of applying for NY Forward, an exciting revitalization grant aimed at communities like ours. We feel Ballston Spa is an ideal candidate for these funds.
NY Forward awardees not only receive investment funds from $2.25 to $4.5 million but also a professional planning team to help best use those dollars to leverage more private investment.

Process
August 10 – Letter of Intent submitted
Summer/Early Fall – Capacity-Building Webinar Training for Local Planning Committee
September – Local Planning Committee work, community engagement opportunities, and one-on-one technical assistance with state and the village
September 23 – Final application due and to be submitted to the Capital Region Regional Economic Development Committee.
