Brookside, The Saratoga County Museum

Built in 1792 by Benjamin Douglas. Its earliest use was a hotel, housing and entertaining visitors to the mineral springs. The Village held its first meeting here in 1807. This structure has been a hotel, school, boarding house, private home, apartment house and an abandoned relic before being renovated in the 1970's to house the Saratoga County Historical Society.
