Clerical Fees

Clerical Fees:

• Tax Search: $20.00.
• Birth Certificate: $10.00 per copy.
• Death Certificate: $10.00 per copy.
• Genealogical Search: $22.00 per 3 year search.
• Zoning Board of Appeals Application: $35.
• Planning Board Application: $35.

Unbagged yard debris in street May 15 - Oct 15. $50 fine, if not subsequently removed, an additional $10/day (except due to wind/storm damage).

Water meter readings for real estate closings:

• 7+ Days Notice: $100.
• 3-6 Days Notice: $150.
• Less than 3 Days Notice: $200.

*All real estate closing meter readings must be read by a representative of the Village of Ballston Spa.

Fee must be paid before or at the closing. Unpaid fees will be added to the property tax bill with penalties.

Notes:

• Outside user rates are 3 times inside user rates.
• Meter cards go out June 1st and December 1st of each year.
• Water/Sewer bills go out February 1st and August 1st of each year.
